Republican senators Warren Daniel and Joyce Krawiec released a joint statement on the court order.
"An overwhelming majority of North Carolina voters amended the state Constitution to require voter ID, and an unelected judge just suppressed their votes.
The bill to implement that amendment was passed by a bipartisan supermajority and was even sponsored by a Democrat.
It provides more ways to comply with the ID requirement than almost any state in the country, including issuing free IDs.
We urge the Attorney General's office and the State Board of Elections to immediately appeal this decision, since this vote-suppressing judge won't even permit the legislature to participate in the case and defend the law from this latest radical attack."

You need more ID to get a fishing license in NYS than you need to vote.
India, a country in which approximately half a billion people still go outside to relive themselves, has voter ID. We are not allowed to by our overlords. At least San Fransisco is trying to even things up on one side of that.

Ignore the judge and let the judge try and enforce his ruling. What gives one single federal judge more power than an entire state.

But you can vote for potentially the MOST POWERFUL PERSON out of 7 billion on the planet.

Over 800 Million voter ID’s with photo printed by India, and no one can vote without it. But that is only half the story. The other half is, you have to actually prove citizenship to acquire a voter ID.
I am a naturalized citizen, and the 3 states I have resided and voted in, no one asked me to actually prove I was a citizen. It was just a question asking if you are a citizen but neither birth certificate or certificate of naturalization was required.
I don’t personally like that people have to have an ID to vote. The government can’t stand the idea that someone might not be on their radar.
That being said, if a Judge is going to slap something down like a photo ID provision, he has to do better than claim it’s a technique to prevent some (racial or other) folks from voting.
Everyone can get an ID. That claim simply doesn’t hold water.
Address it on reasoned merits, or simply let it go through.
This is how they are destroying the nation and taking over states. We are losing the Southwest (New Mexico is gone,Arizona is following and Texas is not far behind). They want North Carolina to turn as Virginia just did and eventually Georgia will and most likely Florida one day. Sounds depressing and bleak but the GOP gives zerofeks and nobody stops these judges who need to be swinging.
It’s insane. Most of Europe requires an ID to vote. Everywhere but here. Ugh.
Roberts is not an idiot he knows but he felt it necessary to break protocol and publicly scold the President even though everyone including Roberts knows Trump was right.
With fake judges like this, why have elections?

NAACP says because they won't take a welfare ID card for voter ID it disproportionately effects African Americans. Their claims sounds racist to me.
No Knock Raid and imprison the judge for voter fraud.
Morth Carolina leftists need a good cleaning out from the state legislature, Congress, academia and now the courts.
The Democrats/leftists are entrenched like ticks on Adam Schiff’s ass and need to be removed with heavy recalls, voting, etc.
