Trump adviser: Expect more aggressive poll watching in 2020
AP ^ | December 20, 2019 | SCOTT BAUER

Posted on 12/20/2019 5:07:50 PM PST by yesthatjallen

One of President Donald Trump’s top re-election advisers told influential Republicans in swing state Wisconsin that the party has “traditionally” relied on voter suppression to compete in battleground states, according to an audio recording of a private event obtained by The Associated Press. The adviser said later that his remarks referred to frequent and false accusations that Republicans employ such tactics.

Justin Clark, a senior political adviser and senior counsel to Trump’s re-election campaign, made the remarks on Nov. 21 as part of a wide-ranging discussion about strategies in the 2020 campaign, including more aggressive use of Election Day monitoring of polling places.

“Traditionally it’s always been Republicans suppressing votes in places,” Clark said at the event. “Let’s start protecting our voters. We know where they are. ... Let’s start playing offense a little bit. That’s what you’re going to see in 2020. It’s going to be a much bigger program, a much more aggressive program, a much better-funded program.”

Why would anyone say this?

PS: Always assume you're being recorded.

As always, the left accuses the right of what they are doing or intend to do.

Yes, better watch those polling places closely.

“Watching”...but will anyone do anything when the voter fraud is happening before their eyes?

What about voter machines rigged to change GOP votes to DNC/CPUSA?

Wanna stop this crap? We should be administering Wild West justice and hang anyone committing voter fraud. Anything less is simply condoning this illegal activity.

Playing offense “a little bit”? A “more aggressive” program? This guy is going to war with BB gun. Fighting leftist cheaters with the political equivalent of the Chinese army behind them. Trump needs to get the GOP massively engaged NOW.

They had better be monitoring the computerized voting machines. I wouldn't put it past the RATs to automatically tally 1.000001 RAT vote for every 1 Republican vote.

I only vote for POTUS anyway. My state's congressmen are creeps.

This cannot be anything but a bald faced lie, and pure projection by Demonrats. They accuse us of what THEY do.

Voter suppression has a bad connotation. However, it does not necessarily mean you prevent people from voting. It can mean that you run ads that make a voter discouraged/disgusted about his party (such as haven’t delivered a promise) that he won’t want to vote - he will stay home. There are tons of ways you can do that - ads, mailings, phone calls, billboards, etc.

I think that we need to stage magicians to train pole watchers on what to look for as far as misdirection at poling stations.
