More losers than winners in the gambling world. Some get rich off the misfortunes of others. Some people develop the gambling addiction and it destroys their lives. Investing in the market is enough of a gamble for me.

The most skilled physicians and surgeons in this country don't make 5% what she makes.As enthusiastically I support capitalism I find this story to be nauseating.

I am still amazed that people gamble when it is proven the house always wins. Unfortunately most gamblers employ the mentality that THEY are the exception and will be the one to bring the house down.
I have a friend of 40 years who is a long time member of "G.A." - Gamblers Anonymous. It's a never-ending fight to overcome that mentality.
