This moron is best friends with fellow moron Ben Mankiewicz, host of Turner Classic Movie. Remember that next time you tune in to watch “Gone with the Wind. I completely cancelled my television 2 years ago. Don’t miss it much.
You have taken the path to freedom and wisdom.
Some call it taking the red pill...
In reality, the blue pill is taken nearly continually in small does in front of the TV.
Stopping watching TV gradually eliminates the blue pill poison from our minds, to use a movie analogy.
“This moron is best friends with fellow moron Ben Mankiewicz, host of Turner Classic Movie”.
And ArseHat Baldwin is there too.
How things changed . . .
Robert Osborne was a class act. Homosexual as the day is long, but never pushed it. Because it wasn’t why he was there. The Movies Mattered.
There were times with segments about pre-code hollywood or the Blacklists where parts were discussed IN CONTEXT, buy that was all.
Funny to watch his eyes light up when he talked about Tyrone Power (it’s ta-RHONE NOT TIE-rone).
He was a true talent.
Same, cable is a wasteland.
Oh, noes! Its time for my favorite Christmas movies!
I actually dont get TCM, but I have been trying to figure out where to find the original *Bishops Wife* with Cary Grant and Loretta Youngits awesome.
Then theres Christmas in Connecticut (Barbara Stanwyck) and Holiday Affair.
Must have!
Ben Mankiewicz - the condescending, snotty host of TCM who only got the job ‘cause his uncle wrote Citizen Kane - is, according to a film professional friend of mine NOT a nice guy. He keeps getting stuck with him on those dopey cruises.
