And this is one reason I like the quick dismiss version for the Senate. See the article about what Trey Gowdy recommended.

This can go both ways and there are merits to a trial vs a quick dismissal.

But either way the GOPe can screw this up for Trump. Remember many GOPe are guilty as hell and don’t want the corruption to be exposed or end.

A removal has serious potential for starting a civil war. I don’t say this flippantly at all.

Yes. The shadow government is behind the curtain. They have much to lose if Trump remains in office.

The main reason to go quick is Roberts IMO.

I hear you.

______

Here is just the beginning of the article:

Can 20 U.S. Senators withstand the potentially irresistible temptation to reverse the results of the 2016 election and remove a president a number of them openly or privately dislike?

Since Donald Trump announced his intention to run for the White House on June 16, 2015, many of the entrenched elites across the various power centers of Washington and beyond have spent much of their waking hours trying to stop or unseat him.

The political charade of an impeachment “investigation” is but the latest example. But that impeachment charade could harbor the greatest threat to Trump’s presidency.

Kinda flippant.

Heard that about many red lines, all now crossed.

Well, they can choose their poison: die by the Deep State or a very, very angry throng of citizens.

Is a trap being set for Trump in the Senate trial?

It's a valid question. And bolton is a wild card who I believe wants to hurt Trump. But if Trump does not take this opportunity to expose the state department and the so called intelligence agencies, it may never happen. But I'm really confused why the house dems would even risk exposure of said agencies, it just does not add-up to me.

I like the idea of a quick dismissal. As much as I want to see Hunter Biden and Adam Schiff called up to testify under oath in the Senate I think if they dismissed quickly and then stated we are now moving onto the peoples business which is USMCA, health care reform and any new trade deal with China they will show who wants to legislate and who wants to obstruct.

When we take back the house, they can investigate the corrupt practices of Adam Schiff head in the next Congress.

“And this is one reason I like the quick dismiss version for the Senate.”

I have come around to that conclusion too. The rats believe ANYTHING can happen once it gets to the Senate. They are not wrong. Shut this BS down and move on. Find another way to shine the light on the treacherous bastards.

They don’t care. They will end up with a pro-establishment president which is what they all want. You can tell by their attitudes that they feel they are smarter then the voters.

I like a quick dismissal too.

This is the strategy to follow:

(1) Have McConnell and the rest of the Senate Republicans absolve Trump of all wrong doing and declare the "impeachment" bogus, unconstitutional, illegal, and politically motivated, all of which is true--and to the advantage of the Senate Republicans--in fact, to the advantage of all honest, benevolent people.

(2) Then appeal to the Supreme Court to have the "impeachment" declared bogus, unconstitutional, illegal, and politically motivated and thus nullified. Before the Court, President Trump's lawyers can subpoena as witnesses everyone involved in this "impeachment" scam, including Schiff, Nadler, Pelosi, their witnesses, and everyone even peripherally associated with it, and they can expose the truth before history and all the world.

It has become painfully evident that a corrupt state exists underneath our elected representatives. That unelected state is administrative inside every agency. The State Department and our embassies have become pay to play whore houses full of money launderers.

Ron Brown died with the blueprints. It's bigger than Wall street at this point.

Every scenario should be considered.

There may be snakes in the grass ready and willing to strike.
