Not a guy dear bleeding heart.

Keep your stew pet dog from killing other people's animals and stew pet dog won't get shot.

She apparently was not that attached to the dog or she would have taken the steps necessary to keep it out of trouble and alive.

Nonsense. No way a dog makes that connection.

There was a bookshop we would go to that had a white Pyrenees and a Chihuahua as the shop dogs.

The Pyrenees was napping next to the wall with the Chihuahua nestled against him. The big dog woke up and looked at the water bowl a few feet away. He licked his lips and started to move, then looked down and saw his little buddy still sleeping against him.

I kid you not, the big guy looked at the water, then at the little dog, again at the water, then back to the little dog. He then gave this audible sigh, laid back down and decided to just be a big warm pillow for a while longer.

Great dogs those Pyrenees.

A dog shooting I agree with. The fault entirely is with its owners, not the man who suffered all those animal losses on his own property.

Pyrenees are great care takers. A stray Boxer wandered on to my property one day. He looked terrible. I could see his ribs cage. Probably hadn't had a meal in weeks. I found it odd that my Pyrenees didn't bark but seemed to welcome him in his area. Very unusual that he would let another male dog on our property.

I attempted to grab the Boxer but he would run away into the woods. My dog just laid in the drive way all day apparently waiting for him to return. That night I fed my dog as usual but he wouldn't eat. I was concerned that he was getting sick. The next morning my dog was still there guarding the full bowl of dry food. Finally a day later I saw the Boxer chowing down on my Pryenees' food. When I came into view he ran off again. This went on for a few days. Finally both dogs were eating.

It then dawned on me that my Pyrenees knew this lost dog was malnourished, was in serious trouble, and gave up his own food for two days so he could get healthy.

He is an amazing animal. Bottom line I took a photo of the Boxer and found his owner who lived 20 miles away from me! The girl that came to get him broke down in tears when she saw him. She thanked me of course but I told her the thanks and gratitude belongs to my Great Pyrenees that took care of him for awhile.

If you are farming 100,000 broilers for some chicken corporation you’re likely not to get too worked up if a dog or cat eats a few every now and then

If you’re a rural Gadsden flag sort who knows their laying hens and rooster by name you’re likely to take it personal

I have two big uncut Rotts on my small horse place .....they do not mess with the horses....knowing death when they see it.....and I have a cattle operation next door with Angus on a few hundred acres

My dogs have never gone after the calves

I had an American bulldog that would have and I had to give him away

This is pretty unusual cause my experience with Pyrenees is they are usually devoted to their flock or herd

Btw I don’t think most here except the most hard bitten would have executed the dog in front of the kids

I certainly would not have
