That is what Virginia gets for electing those crazy democrats!!!

The Good Lord moves in mysterious ways. It took a defeat in last fall’s election to awaken many who were dozing or asleep to the threat of hard core tyranny taking place in their very neighborhoods. The liberal surrogates of Soros and Bloomberg who were elected last fall are now on their way to Richmond. They have a huge debt to repay to their devil masters by betraying the State of Virginia and its residents.

The militia groups should start applying to the national guard units for surplus crew served weapons. Of particular interest would be anti-tank weapons.

The Virginia state constitution specifies a militia governed by ‘the civil power’, which could allow for county militia units.

My own state constitution is not so well worded, vesting the control of the militia (ie state guard) to our governor. Bummer.

I can see this catching on in other states where the state constitutions allow for it. It would be interested to see what these Virginia counties do in terms of organization, any voluntary or required training, etc.

I like the idea of the Sheriff that was going to deputize anyone in his county. That could be a trend too.

Yes, alternative to "militia".

"football association" "bowling club" "sports fan club" "rescue volunteers"

If you want to freak out snowflake lefties, just tell them, friendly like, that “hunting” is really conservative code for militia training.

You know, going out and stalking and killing 200# mammals.

(Then hanging them by their heels from a tree and gutting and skinning them.)

Proud of you Virginia!!

Strange thing, there actually is a militia here in Missouri and I even thought to join. It was crazy, basically like being in the army and having to train together. Seemed only difference from the Army was you had to buy all your own equipment (BDU, Boots, Rifle, Ammo, everything) and then the extensive FBI background check and I was like, no...not for me. If I were to join the militia, it would be just a grouping of folks, not all government involved like the Missouri militia seemed to be. Seemed just a way for the government to know what your activities were. Not very trusting am I? :)

If you are wondering about Tazwell, you go through WV to get there. My son ran for 100 yards against Tazwell in HS.

A careful reading of 922(o) will show how one short letter can let each deputy obtain a new M4 at post price legally.

That’s B.S. No need to hide what is fully American and constitutional. Have parade drills. Range days. Buy ammo in bulk. Long range shooting events.
Make sure all the local guardsmen are members. Have the sheriff as a deputy commander. And, if necessity, let the newbie state trooper know you know where he lives, where his children go to school, and his route to work. The veteran troopers already know you know.

You know what will happen? What any jackass gun grabber will do? Absolutely nothing, squat, nadda.

You either stand up for your rights or you lose them.
