“Frankly, I have had enough of IG Horowitz.”

Horowitz was an Obama appointee, and is thoroughly Deep State. But as mentioned earlier, he has NO subpoena power and cannot indict; and he can only address what the DOJ’s role in all this was. His role is to protect the establishment at all costs, and he is fulfilling his role.

Our only hope for any substantive investigation is with Durham. Absent that, we have become a banana republic.

Attorney General Barr: “The Inspector General’s report now makes clear that the FBI launched an intrusive investigation of a U.S. presidential campaign on the thinnest of suspicions that, in my view, were insufficient to justify the steps taken.”

Whitewash:

We are deeply concerned that so many basic and fundamental errors were
made by three separate, hand-picked investigative teams; on one of the most
sensitive FBI investigations; after the matter had been briefed to the highest levels
within the FBI; even though the information sought through use of FISA authority
related so closely to an ongoing presidential campaign; and even though those
involved with the investigation knew that their actions were likely to be subjected
to close scrutiny. We believe this circumstance reflects a failure not just by those
who prepared the FISA applications, but also by the managers and supervisors in
the Crossfire Hurricane chain of command, including FBI senior officials who were
briefed as the investigation progressed. We do not expect managers and
supervisors to know every fact about an investigation, or senior leaders to know all
the details of cases about which they are briefed. However, especially in the FBl’s
most sensitive and high-priority matters, and especially when seeking court
permission to use an intrusive tool such as a FISA order, it is incumbent upon the
entire chain of command, including senior officials, to take the necessary steps to
ensure that they are sufficiently familiar with the facts and circumstances
supporting and potentially undermining a FISA application in order to provide
effective oversight consistent with their level of supervisory responsibility. Such
oversight requires greater familiarity with the facts than we saw in this review,
where time and again during OIG interviews FBI managers, supervisors, and senior
officials displayed a lack of understanding or awareness of important information
concerning many of the problems we identified.

In support of the fourth element concerning Carter Page's alleged coordination with the Russian government on 2016 U.S. presidential election activities, the drafts of the application-and later the read copy and final application-relied entirely on information from Steele that Steele said was provided to him by his Primary Sub-source. Specifically, the following aspects of Steele's Reports 80, 94, 95, and 102

This is B.S. - you cannot have such a widespread institutional failure without malice involved. Throw in false exculpatory statements about the FISA applications not relying on the Steel Dossier and that alone should be grounds for criminal referrals.

Just read the first few pages, and it does appear to be true. The point relates to the question of whether the opening of Crossfire Hurricane was determined by political bias. Horowitz argues that Lisa Page had no involvement on the decision to open or not. Strozk did have some involvement in the decision making process, but he was not the sole decider, or even the most senior level person required to sign off on it. Priestap was senior to him and - I presume - had the final word. Horowitz concludes that, aside from Strozk, there were no others involved in the decision to open the investigation that exhibited a politically biased motivation.

This only relates to the decision to open the investigation - nothing more. It says nothing on whether political bias motivated other decisions or actions that were taken once the investigation was opened. Still reading.

Massive counterintel investigation against political campaign of opposing party was started solely on tip from foreign gov’t, nothing else, IG says. W/in days, 4 campaign officials targeted, picked because they’d been to Russia or talked to Russians. Wow does this look flimsy.

IG says officials all agreed that they should launch massive counterintel probe on basis of that one uncorroborated tip and not tell campaign (which included US Sen. and future AG Jeff Sessions and former NJ Gov. Chris Christie, notably) in case they were all in on it.

Hannity is going to have to go on record to apologize to his viewers as he said this report would be devastating.

What about some of our posters here who said the same thing?

Where are they now? Where's the plate of crow?
