I’ve often wondered about this sort of thing. Pelosi is probably - deep down - a religious person. Why then do such people support abortion? If I had to answer that using only one word, I’d pick “cowardliness”. They are too cowardly to take a stand. Too cowardly to break with the PC crowd on even one issue.
I think there is a good analogy here. And that analogy is slavery. Decent folks had to be affected when watching human beings being sold on a stage. Watching as families were being torn apart - a mother going to one owner and a child going to another.
But it was easier to just turn away. After all, it was legal.

Have FReepers forgotten the way Catholic abortionists like Pelosi justify themselves? They argue for “women’s rights,” its her body to do with as she chooses.” Its the mother’s choice if she chooses to abort her baby. She comes before any baby.
