MI 3rd Congressional District has a clear frontrunner

Joel Langlois I'm no longer living in MI 3rd. I don't know which candidate Joel was referring to as a never Trumper, but it certainly isn't Tom Norton who is very pro President Trump.
Breitbrat says the never Trumper is Pete Meijer, who is polling 5th of the 5 republicans running.

I do like Tom's "Make Congress Great Again," slogan.

Joel had an event on Thursday evening in Grand Rapids at the DeltaPlex event center which he owns. Less than 75 cars were in the lot and under 100 persons at the event with a headliner name (former Trump campain manager) Corey Lewandowski. It was heavily advertised on social media, radio and print. The event was a total disaster.

Joel is a nice guy but has no stage presence and does not have command of any issues and CANNOT debate issues or provide substance on why he is the best candidate to represent the people of the 3rd district.

Peter Meijer is actually a nice guy but in an R+7 district with a divorce rate of only 10% and a district that centers its beliefs around Right to Life and a the Heartbeat Coalition he will have a hard time prosecuting his stance as a Trump Republican....let alone a conservative one. Facts are damning things. The real war has not started yet.

Other candidates are Lynn Afendoulis. Nice gal and a current State Rep in the 73rd district who is backed by Swamp money. A liberal Republican (Joe Farrington) and then a Minister who jumped in a month ago.

Joel Langlois is not as pro-Trump as he claims to be.

I've followed only a little as I now live in Jenison. In past elections I had voted for Amash as a Liberaltarian is better than the Commies.

I've met Joel due to his ownership of the Deltaplex. Boxing, and MMA events I've attended there.

At the last boxing event I was outside moving people in the long line who already had tickets to another line to get past the ticket sales counters.
One of the temp security guards asked if I was the owner of Blue's Gym. He got that idea probably because I was wearing a Blue's shirt and was coming and going in and out of the venue, and handing out ring side VIP table tickets to some folks.

At a previous event I was walking with Dino Newville. We both were wearing Blue's Gym shirts. One of the security people ask Dino who I was. Dino replied, "He's my body guard."
