Well DUH! The birthrate among muslims is probably the highest of any group in the Country. And as more arrive, and other groups consider children less attractive than dogs or cats, the gap will only widen, and the name Mohammed will continue to climb in statistical popularity.

This is fake news. The list in question is of registered users of the Baby Center website. They have 600k people registered. The Baby Center list only tells us that the Baby Center website is quite popular with Muslims -- nothing more.

Mohammed does not appear at all on the actual top 10 list of actual babies born. The real list is compiled by the Social Security Administration from birth records. If you scroll down on the SSA website and use their utility to look at the top 1000 male baby names for 2018 (the last year with complete data), Mohammad (most popular spelling) comes in at number 605.

It pays to check your data sources. Nice clickbait headline, though.
