1. Amnesty might actually have some integrity.
2. The Ayatollahs are not leftists by any stretch. Their not rightists, either, strictly speaking. They want to destroy America and Israel, and establish a border-less Caliphate with them at its head, and kill all Sunnis and Suffis who won’t convert to “true Islam,” oh, and kill all Jooos!, Christians, Hindus, etc., too.
3. They would also kill all Shiites who disagree with them, including that ingrate Muqtada el Sadr in Iraq, and his new mentor Ali Sistani, for daring to defy them.
4. They’re their own flavor of batsh!t crazy.
5. Theirs is a Mosque of cards, because they couldn’t do anything without oil, and they’re stealing their oil from the hereditary lands of Shiite Arabs, and treating them like crap. A free and independent Khuzestan would put paid to them and their evil, insane reign of terror and threats to the world, but thus far it’s not happening.
I’ll be writing to Amnesty about that last point, seeing what specifics they have of political prisoners.
