The number of people believed to have been killed during demonstrations in Iran that broke out on 15 November has risen to at least 208, said Amnesty International, based on credible reports received by the organization. The real figure is likely to be higher. Dozens of the deaths have been recorded in Shahriar city in Tehran province – one of the cities with the highest death tolls.

According to information gathered by Amnesty International, families of victims have been threatened and warned not to speak to the media, or to hold funeral ceremonies for their loved ones. Some families are also being forced to make extortionate payments to have the bodies of their loved ones returned to them.
Weird how a lefty organization reports on the people murdered by lefties.

The good folks of Iran need to do in many of the leading, “mullah’s”. Whether in their sleep, or on the toilet or wherever they can or else always be slaves.
Friend had a roommate who was an Iranian exile living in Vegas after the Shah was ousted. The revolutionary council in Iran released a book every so often. It was like a yearbook and had pictures on one page of Iranian officer’s graduation pictures from various Western military schools. On the next page it showed their execution. Their only crime, being trained by the West. Those books were widely circulated among the exile community as they were relived not to see their relatives in it.
I’ll be writing to Amnesty about that last point, seeing what specifics they have of political prisoners.
