The Justice Department’s inspector general found no evidence that the F.B.I. attempted to place undercover agents or informants inside Donald J. Trump’s campaign in 2016

I wonder what the rest of the story is here, the parts that the Deep State didn't want in the report. I'm guessing that we'll never see the truth but it's something like one of these:

"The Justice Department’s inspector general found that it was the CIA that placed undercover agents or informants inside Donald J. Trump’s campaign in 2016 . . ."

"The Justice Department’s inspector general found evidence that the FBI placed undercover agents or informants inside Donald J. Trump’s campaign in 2016, but they are talking about the F.B.I. because that is not the correct abbreviation for the Deep State's investigative arm."

"The Justice Department’s inspector general made a successful effort to look in all the wrong places and ensure that he found no evidence that the F.B.I. attempted to place undercover agents or informants inside Donald J. Trump’s campaign in 2016."

So many interpretations, and recent years have taught me to read this sort of exoneration as if Bill Clinton had written it. We are facing a coup from government insiders, and I do not trust anything from their Ministry of Propaganda.

Keep in mind that these leaks are from people who are named in the report who were given a chance to read it and respond. They have no vested interest in the truth. They are trying to shape the battlefield. When the report does come out and says the opposite, they're hoping people will think they're heard two stories and won't care that one is backed by criminal referrals.

When the criminal investigation is complete, there won't be any opinions, just indictments and decisions not to indict.

More spin:

Mr. Horowitz found no evidence that Mr. Halper tried to infiltrate the Trump campaign itself, the people familiar with the draft report said, such as by seeking inside campaign information or a role in the organization. The F.B.I. also never directed him to do so, former officials said. Instead, Mr. Halper focused on eliciting information from Mr. Page and Mr. Papadopoulos about their ties to Russia.

The FBI already admitted it did this. They just didn’t like them referred to as ‘spies’ or ‘spying’.

The more I read this article the more i see it as just spin

Nobody said the investigation was started with Steele

The report is also expected to debunk another theory of Trump allies: that the F.B.I. relied on information to open the investigation from a British former spy, Christopher Steele, himself a onetime bureau informant who compiled a dossier of damaging, unverified information on Mr. Trump.

Ciamarella isn’t FBI, he’s CIA.

Exactly. So even if he HAD literally verbatim, explicitly infiltrated, the FBI still did not infiltrate ... because the CIA did!
