I had to read that at least 3 times to figure out what the hell they meant. They blame Trump for “the patriarchy” and “the culture”.
These people need psychological help. They are quite simply not on a path towards good mental health. They need to focus on their lives and not look for some icon to blame for their perceived ills of the world. They can’t even empathize that Trump is as much a product of “the culture” as anyone else. This tells me that Columbia is probably not a good learning institution but churning out agitators and propagandists.
Why did these people identify themselves as Columbia Team members, if they did not intend to speak for the team?
As I understand it, this was an event recognizing teams. It wasn’t an event where teams could could sound off against the president or his policies.

There’s a lot of rigorous training and a lot of pain to get past before you step up on the podium.
In the upper ranks of US fencing at present there is only one faggot. In my day there were none.
We don’t usually think of it as such in America, because nobody carries swords any more, but it is a martial art. The strength, speed, timing, and control of distance I learned in fencing kept me from getting mugged or beat up on more than one continent.
