A professor at Indiana University who defended "racist, sexist, and homophobic" comments that he posted on his social media accounts will keep his job because his views are protected under the Constitution, university officials announced after they were bombarded with demands to fire him.
Eric Rasmusen, a professor of business economics and public policy at the university, tweeted this month a quote from an article that said, "geniuses are overwhelmingly male because they combine outlier IQ with moderately low Agreeableness and Moderately low Conscientiousness." The article, titled, "Are Women Destroying Academia? Probably" was published by The Unz Review, which describes itself as a publication that presents "controversial perspectives largely excluded from the American mainstream media."
"Professor Eric Rasmusen has, for many years, used his private social media accounts to disseminate his racist, sexist, and homophobic views," said university Executive Vice President and Provost Lauren Robel in a letter.

I’m sure they misrepresented his views and twisted his words into something he did not mean. In fact, it sounds like he is accused of holding opinions of people he cites. This is a great victory for academic freedom.
I'd like to believe that but 'the forces of evil' will regroup and find a new means to attack.
I hope the school and the professor remain victorious but the enemies of free speech never give up.

His premise is correct (that “geniuses” as measured by IQ are almost all males), but his expressed reasoning is a non sequitur. Agreeableness and conscientiousness no more cause genius in males, females, or the confused, than ice causes the spontaneous generation of worms in emeralds.
The title should have been “How Women Destroyed Academia.”

it will not be long before white males will be excluded from all but community colleges...and within the next thirty years women will be the majority in government and the military...
