Former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. has 154 endorsements from current or former black or Hispanic elected officials. Senator Kamala Harris has 93. Senator Bernie Sanders has 91. Senator Cory Booker has 50. Senator Elizabeth Warren has 43.

Mayor Pete Buttigieg has six.

The South Bend, Ind., mayor has surged to first place in some Iowa polls and has built a big-money fund-raising operation that is the strongest in the Democratic presidential field.

Times change.

Iowa and New Hampshire are no longer useful as barometers for the Democrat nomination.

They are simply too white and too rural.

The article ignores the elephant in the room; blacks and hispanics do not like flamin' homos. Maybe, but they'll still overwhelmingly vote DEM/gay before they will GOP.

My hope and expectation is that many blacks will stay home. Not voting will be a way to feel good about not voting for Trump but will let them avoid voting for a candidate they do not like for the Dems. Low turnout equals help for Trump.

Now if we could just arrange a yuge all day and early night spectacular all star music festival on streaming video to distract the Millenials from going out to vote. "I heard Katy Perry is going to publicly slap Taylor Swift over that guy." "Beyonce says she's going to go topless during her song to make a protest statement."

Biden has 154 endorsements from former blacks?

I didn't know there were that many former black people around. The only one I have heard of is Michael Jackson, and he's dead.

Trump carried FL which was his de facto home state. He’ll carry it as his de jure home state in 2020.

Racial quotas are a critical part of maintaining the illusions 1) of economic assimilation by blacks, and 2) that this multi-ethnic country can function.

This applies to gender quotas as well; despite dangling carrots in front of every female, they can’t get the into STEM fields in “acceptable” numbers. Now they’ve even corrupted it into “STEAM” - adding “arts” - so some of the funds can be diverted to “students” who can’t read or do math.

Any preferred minority (racial or gender) has to prove themselves before I ever assume they aren’t simple PC window-dressing - and I pity the people in those categories that advance by their own merits (since they are still suspect initially due to the policies).

That’s the first I’ve heard of STEAM. We are truly slouching towards Gomorrah.

Yeah, I started hearing it about a year ago when the STEM programs didn’t attract many preferred ethnic minorities and women. Enter “STEM versus STEAM” or something similar in your browser; it is pathetic.

Culturally speaking, being an on the down low homo is different than being a flamer.
