Won't happen. The populace has not reached that point at which they find the situation intolerable. Their progressive religion is so strong, nothing short of martyrdom will suffice.

Not even close. It's difficult to find many examples of socialism "voted" out, because there is always a lopsided majority that's either getting the free shit, or not directly affected enough by the problems of those who are. Look at the major cities ruled by Dems for generations. No matter how craptastic it gets, there are enough slaves to keep the massah's in charge.
