Yep, Chesa Boudin, scion of the Weather Underground and veteran of the Hugo Chavez regime, who ran for D.A. on a platform of NOT prosecuting crime... except the “crimes” of cops and ICE agents. He’s 180 degrees the opposite of what S.F. needs in a D.A., and yet he won.

Yeah, exactly. And Seattle too, they returned that whole passel of idiots to run their city for another term. I’m not sure if the really crazy commie chick (forget her foreign language name right now) got re-elected or not.
I read in City Journal that it was all going well for the pro-business, quality of life candidates until Amazon threw another million bucks into the race. On the pro-business, q-o-l side, but, per the piece, this galvanized the Lefty vote.
Don’t know but they’re all screwed. And why the Rs can’t make hay of this I do not know.
