The only question about 2020 was would the democrats hold the house..... Without the impeachment vote, this was debatable...
The minute the Democrats voted to go forward with this impeachment investigation they ended any debate...
Republicans will control the House, Senate and White House starting in Jan 2021, and unlike 2016 Trump won’t waste 2 years listening to the GOPe folks who used be in charge of the house.
Doesn’t matter what the Democrats do from this point forward, even if they refuse to vote on articles of impeachment in the house, or even stop everything right now.... They toasted themselves....

In the 90s Clinton impeachment hearings attracted over 30Million people watching... this #seinfeldimpeachment (impeachment about nothing) started with a whole 13 Million people, and dropped like a stone from there, even though the population of the US 276 Milllion in 1998 and 327 Million now.
