So our “nation building” of Iran is off?
Trying to put the Tom Delay on him. It’s not bribery when Bill Klinton decides to keep a million dollar gift instead of turning it in but this is. Whatever.....
What? You don't think like I do that they are the same people aka they are all connected and someone is pushing this aka Soro's & Company? :-)
Too much to loose when the Division is gone, solve problems they can't play the 3 card monte for 30, 40 or 50 yrs and skim off the top.
As much as FR can't stand Jarret, I have been saying since March 2017 that he and his FIL President Donald J. Trump, G-d it never gets old saying that, have been working towards a M.E. Peace deal, one in which the bad actors are wacked & the funding sources are dried up and the PA has to come to the table. I'd lay out what I see, but I don't have time to type it all out.
They can't keep the 3 card monte going w/ Bibi in place, so they are trying to destroy him those B@$t@rd$, I hope they all step in it, Bibi is a good man.
Perhaps they’ve been watching CNN, and believe the liberals are making their case against President Trump, and have become emboldened by it, thinking they can be successful against Bibi.
Agreed.
The left in Israel think they can be coached by Muslim supporting Nancy Pelosi, both resent Trumps approval of Jerusalem as the capital, the recognition of the Golan as Israeli territory, and the legitimization of West Bank Israeli settlements.
Bibi will prevail. This indictment is all about the next runoff election, because BiBi is slated to win it.
Bibi will beat them like a drum at the polls now that the left has taken the bait, and made the mistake of indicting him.
As far as I am concerned, Bibi is very much a reincarnation of King David.
Bottom line folks, things just ain’t bad enough yet.
Netanyahu was indicted by the Attorney General of Israel who is a member of Bibis Likud Party and was appointed to his position by Netanyahu.
Avichai Mandelblit is an Israeli jurist who serves as the Attorney General of Israel. Mandelblit had a long career in the Israel Defense Forces legal system, eventually serving as the Chief Military Advocate General between 2004 and 2011. On April 2013, he was appointed Cabinet Secretary. In February 2016, he was appointed Attorney General.Wikipedia
As much as FR can’t stand Jarret...***
When was this policy adopted at Free Republic?
Is it on the main page?
And of which “Jarret” do you speak?
TIA
The parallels between here and America are eerie. Same made-up nonsensical charges, basically pretexts that make a mockery of due process and justice, turning it all into a circus.
But there’s a difference. Bibi has had a total of about 14 or 15 years in office. He has already left his mark on the country. That includes surrendering almost all of Hebron to the PA. It includes demolishing numerous Jewish outposts in Judah and Samaria, sometimes rousting the residents, women, children, elderly and menfolk, in the middle of the night in winter and giving them 15 minutes to pack before the bulldozers move in. And the soldiers they have assigned to the dirty work are not Jews, but Druze. What Jewish soldiers are present are covering their faces, perhaps in shame. This didn’t happen on TV, but it happened to friends of mine near where I lived.
It includes kicking purchasers of homes in Hebron out on the street on the eve of a holiday, even though they paid full price and then some for the homes. Even though the Arabs who sold their homes used the money to immediately flee the country for fear of reprisals, and the broker who arranged the deal was caught and put on death row. Israel appealed to the United Nations to help save the poor man’s life. I have no idea whether or not they succeeded.
So, no. I am no fan of Bibi. He makes great speeches in front of international audiences, and that is what he should be restricted to, Ambassador to the UN. But another term as PM, NO!, imho.
I am a great fan of Donald J. Trump, and the more he fights off the leftards and benefits the country, they greater my admiration of him. He’s a combination of Andrew Jackson, Teddy Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan, Harry Truman, Bruce Lee and PT Barnum, all rolled up into a giant orange grizzly. I only fear that he will ultimately end up like Lincoln.
As far as I am concerned, Bibi is very much a reincarnation of King David.***
Very interesting comparison.
James Carville goes to Israel before elections to campaign against Bibi.
“As far as I am concerned, Bibi is very much a reincarnation of King David.”
Give me a break.
My bad, type too fast, I meant to say: Jared Kushner, now the flaming will begin.....
Oh yeah him, Jared.
He and his wife are a danger to our Constitutional Republic. Just for one broadbrush example.
Preferably live, not blanks.
When we hear the details “Netanyahu was overheard making a phone call in Israel to a Ukrainian....” we’ll know something doesn’t pass the smell test.”
If you missed the Schifft Show, you can catch the rerun on Isreali TV.
I am a big fan of PM Netanyahu. Is the Israeli justice like ours in that a prosecutor can get a (kosher) sandwich indicted? And I am not current enough on Israeli politics to know how much of this is politically motivated. At least he wasnt selling phantom copies of an unpublished book.
I don’t know about indictments. This is agenda driven, I think. And don’t tell me Mandelblit, or whatever his name is, is a member of Likud appointed by Bibi himself. Benny Begin is not only a member of Likud, but a son of Menachem Begin, and he’s a flaming leftard of the first order. We have a deep state here, too.
I used to admire Bibi, but then I moved here and got to know him better. But even so, perverting the very definition of a serious crime such as bribery to fit the pretext your agenda craves is worse than bribery, extortion, quidding someone’s proquo, or even murder. The law has to be the law. Prosecutor Humpty Dumpty can’t make it mean anything he wants it to. If the law is no longer the law, nobody’s safe. That’s what’s really at stake.
