Actually a very real possibility. Why?? Because there is a separate mechanism by which the sun can deposit energy into the earth which doesn't involve light or heat photons (aka "global warming"). That mechanism is the interaction of the sun's magnetic field with the molten conductors in the deep earth.

Fundamental physics law says that "a conductor moving in a magnetic field will have electric current flow induced". So if the sun's field strengthens (which it has done), heat will be generated in the earth's interior, which controls earthquakes and volcano events (among other things).

I haven't seen a chart showing a correlation between the solar cycle and geophysical events. But that doesn't mean there isn't one. The current low solar would produce fewer events?

I don't think that anyone has even looked. I've been scanning the scientific literature for many, many years, and never seen the connection even mentioned as a possibility. Yet the connection MUST be there, however (or not) small.

Don’t be naive. People have looked, for this and any other connection the mind can conceive. If there is nothing mentioned “even as a possibility” it is because exhaustive searches have turned up nothing to report.

It pays to remember, journals do not generally publish “negative results.”

Sorry, but I don't believe that. Science has proven to have some very serious blind spots in the past. I don't see why this should not be one of them. Everybody and his brother is focused on "photonic warming". At one time it was "phlogiston".
