Even he is admitting their case is weak, and realizes they have to “crystallize” to succeed.

The only way President Trump looks bad is if you are uninformed enough to believe that diplomats set foreign policy and not the President. Yesterday was basically two diplomat scumbags butthurt that they are not being listened too.
So...what really CNN is trying to say, is that DIPLOMATS who were hired, should be running POLICY and DIPLOMACY among nations, and not elected officials, like a President, who has high expectations that the State Dept, will follow his lead, and if anyone doesn’t like his policies for a nation, should kindly resign and go back to being a citizen that writes Op Ed pieces for the New York Times.
