Dems and others will trot out the claim that we have a “disgracefully high” infant mortality rate and even try to claim that Cuba’s is lower. Obviously if you don’t count deaths in the first months, your rate will be lower.

I expect this also effects average life expectancy because childhood deaths lower life expectancy a great deal.
