But there is a reason so many get very worked up about American healthcare.

1) It is the most expensive anywhere. Anywhere.

2) Lots of Americans are not covered.

I dont mind entertaining the idea of health care for underprivileged, only if there was a rock solid wall blocking illegals from it. Its more difficult for actual American citizens to get healthcare right now, versus your average illegal walking into the emergency room.

My solution is to eliminate medical insurance entirely. It’s amazing how inexpensive things — even medical procedures — often get when you have to pay for them out of your own pocket.
