So WhoTF paid off or intimidated the GOP “leadership” in Virginia?
Whose fault is that?
In NYC, under vote for any 3 supreme court justices, there were only 3, all democrats. Under vote for any 2 civil court judge-county, there were only 2, both democrats.Under district attorney, there was only one ‘choice’: a democrat. and for a Judge of the civil court, there was only 1: a democrat. No choices in any of those races. I felt like I was voting for Saddam in Iraq. I didn’t vote for any one in those races. If I had known it would be like that, I would have run a cheap write-in campaign for myself! I could use the extra money.
In most cases, there was no use but it’s a stupid thing to do. You can’t predict what a candidate will do. We had one get killed in a plane crash just before the election
Wait... when Torricelli was put on the ballot at the last minute (against the law), we were told by the court that it was a greater good that the people had a choice. I guess having a Democrat option is the only greater good.
This may be part of the GOPe resurrection strategy: allow a state to lurch far to the left and expecting the voters to beg them to come back.
It was awful. State GOP in VA is a mess.
Only part of VA that remains Red is SOVA. But thats not where the votes are.
What was the turnout ? Seen no reports on not just Virginia but anywhere else. No candidates doesn’t help. Turnout might be the issue here.
Sounds like MN. Amy Klobuchar boasted she carried every district, but her GOP challenger had no real campaign. I didnt even know Klobuchars term was up until I saw a single billboard. The GOP better get off their duffs in Virginia and Minnesota and stop handing elections to leftist loons.
This is a big problem for Republicans everywhere. Even if there is little chance for a Republican win, they need to field candidates. If for no other reason than training for future elections, and the rare “miracle” wins.
Expectations should be low, and party funding as well. But some candidates are able to overcome desperate odds, and raise lots of money, just because of who they are. And people like that are the future of the party.
On top of it all right now Republicans are flush with cash, and Democrats are hurting. Even if a Republican candidate can unnerve a Democrat in a solid blue seat, he or his party might divert funding to him instead of using it to win better gambles.
You can’t win if you don’t play.

I’d bet that most states have some seats where there isn’t an
opposing party candidate.
All of the election result postings following this one in this news cycle does not mention turnout either.
That won’t ever happen. People will just leave and ruin other states. California is in collapse and the Democrats have supermajorities.
They jerrymandered for the Dems .
That is why this we have this outcome .
Look it up .
+10! NOVA is also bloated with foreigners too who vote Rat. It is a disgusting mess and it’s time to leave.
“He’s dead Jim ...” ... Just sayin ...
We should call it Novastan
Yeah, maybe no chance.
But it would give a hopeful some practice, and a chance to see how they perform as a candidate.
And it could be a cheap exercise.
