Pretty freakin scary if ya ask me.
As bad, as corrupt as we can possibly think our government is.... is not even close to the reality. You and I could not even imagine the level of corruption.
Ours is the most corrupt government in the history of the world...and, as we see today, one of the most tyrannical in history. Regardless of our trappings and our history, what we have become today is very much antithetical to our founding and much of our history. We are good in the Orwellian days at putting soft facades on hard tyranny and corruption.
