I would think the lawyers will be buying their second or even third vacation house.
1-Lawyers
2-The pockets of Senators and Congressmen, who will ensure #3-6
3 Increased and enhanced communication, transit surveillance and facial recognition systems and staff
4-Health, housing and upkeep of 80M undocumented unfortunates
5-State Programs earmarked for (a)”unfortunates”and (b) the purchase of military weapons, ammo and equipment for local police
6-Iran and/or other Islamic states
Well, Oklahoma will piss it away with nothing to show for it at all. Many will fill their pockets with much of it for very little effort.
The whole law suit thing was a scam akin to the suits of the Tobacco Producers.
You will never know!
Agree. They blamed and trashed oxycontin like it was terrible, addictive, trash. I was on 80 MG 3 X a day. I was advised by two SF medics and one of our MD’s who works with DR’s without borders to sweat that crap out and go to the “gold standard” morphine. Well no kid wants morphine as it gives no buzz. It only kills pain. It also can make one tired. I admit the oxy gave me energy I never had. I could get by with very little sleep. My deceased wife had two kids who are late 30’s. Both were/are heroin addicts. It is not the RX opioids. It is street drugs. Regular RX fentanyl 50 to 100 mcg did not last 3 days. It barely controlled pain.
True.
Theres a big difference here people taking illegal drugs is that illegal cigarettes are still a legal product entirely different subjects there now of course with the opioids you got a bunch of deaths from people voluntarily taking drugs that kill them illegally but still you have illegal activity versus legal activity
I hate to tell you this but the companies that produced the opioids were making a legal product.
Now of course, government bastards want to blame the opioid producers, pharmacies and doctors for addictions and overdoses despite the fact that numerous analyses of CDC data show that the ODs were caused by illegal opioids (fentanyl and heroin) and combinations with other substances such as alcohol, coke, meth.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6369835/
“the overdose crisis started before the availability of synthetic opioids, and may have only a little to do with the prescribing habits of doctors or the pushy habits of drug makers. The shift toward heroin and fentanyl is not just a matter of prescription opioid users switching to other drugs. In recent years, opioid users have become more likely to start with illicit narcotics.
I know it’s hard to take this in because the State media has done a tremendous job propagandizing the public so they will accede to the State’s lawsuit jihad and witch hunt.
This sort of near prohibition of opioids will not work and in fact will result in more dangerous substances on the illegal market. But that’s government for you; death to the people.
What we learn form history is that we don’t learn from history.
You are correct. Many older people in severe pain have had meds cut down so much they are not pain controlled. I just had TSA lose my pain meds enroute to Vegas. They searched me and someone went through my small leather bag I keep 7 days of all meds. Only the percocet 10’s were gone.
