I tend to believe about 50% of this one.
Were they asked to move? Sounds like it.
Was it because they were non-white? Possibly.
Where are the videos from people’s phones? Seems to me that someone would have recorded the action for legal means or just to blast it on anti-social media.
Consider me unconvinced on this one. It could have happened, but the firings could just as easily be BWW overreacting to cover their corporate arses here.
Even if the first group complained about the second group why would management ask the second group to leave?
The story says 'several managers'. How many is 'several'? How many mangers made this call? Not one of them had the sense to see the racial implications of asking the black people to move?
IF the original complaint was made I believe most managers would offer to discretely move the first group and not the black group.
Either there is a great deal of blind ignorance and complete lack of current racial awareness of the managers or we're lacking information.
