The whole place was loud, but I saw no animal behavior.
The “journalists” are taught to create and sell narratives, partly to push SJW agendas, but also to get attention. Facts that do not help the narrative are ignored.
This story ignores any independent fact witnesses (BWW corporate isn’t independent - they’d rather fire their employees than investigate/contest the facts). Do the fired personnel get to tell their side? Nope. Other diners who were present at the time? Nope. Surveillance cameras or other video? Nope. The person who allegedly asked hat the group be moved? Nope. Why wouldn’t the managers simply move the complainer to another table? As you say, journalists sure are incurious.
We went to Hungry Hunter the other night for dinner. Ours has several small rooms that I just can’t stand being in because once they start getting full they get really loud. Lousy acoustics. The sounds just bounce off the walls. Anyway the hostess started heading toward one of those rooms with us and I said nope! I can’t stand the noise in there. She didn’t bat an eye and seated us elsewhere. Maybe I should’ve checked to see what color people were in there before I complained. lol

In most cases, you offer to move the offended, not the offenders. I have asked to be moved a couple times because someone at a nearby table wore so much cologne it was interfering with my enjoyment of the food.
Probably more like behavior, not race. But these days, and in or near Chicago? Nope, don’t even try moving anyone except the offended.

I think if their behavior was the issue they would be asked to leave the restaurant entirely, not just moved to another table. There are still racists out there, even after the Great Black Hope won a second term.
