Difficult to overstate the miserable state that Obama and Biden left this country in
The Hill ^ | 11 02 2019 | Saagar Enjeti

Former Vice President Joe Biden's handlers, they let him out of his private airplane yesterday to do a rare campaign rally in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

I suffered through most of it so that you wouldn't have to, and I really have to tell you how shocking it is. It’s literally like being transported back to the year 1999. The rhetoric and policy proposals are exactly the same; the only difference is he says something along the lines of how this election is, quote "a battle for the soul of this nation."

The rally just completely lacked the self-awareness and the reflection for any person who wants to hold the oval office in the year 2020. Biden remarked on terrible things in American life, as if he has had no role whatsoever in crafting the policies that lead to these terrible things in the first place. Take this lamentation on the state of the middle class.

Further on, he says quote, "I'm determined to give the middle class a real shot in this country. If we ever lose that, we begin to lose the soul of the country. It’s about who we are."

I mean, who wants to tell him folks?

How exactly did the middle class get into trouble? It is absolutely stunning that one of the politicians most responsible for our current plight has the gall to express concern for those he took a direct role in hurting. Biden is, of course, behind the 2005 effort to strip bankruptcy protections for millions of Americans. Protections they probably could have used when the bottom fell out of the economy in 2008.

Barney Frank and others sabotaged the housing in America. It was by design.

The left does so many horrible things and sleeps just fine at night. Look at the child abuse because Obama celebrated transgenderism. The hollowing of our military. Law enforcement as targets and disengaging from protecting the cities. Hundreds of thousands of Central American kids dispersed around the country. Drug epidemic. Open borders. Look at California.

Yup. Housing BS started when Pelosi took over the HOR in 2007. The woman is either desperately ignorant or evil to her core. I think the latter.

Fort Dodge, IA. Was working next to Ft. Dodge in Eagle Grove in 2018. It’s the meth capital of the mid-west so I doubt anybody there was paying attention to anything Joe said.

It’s still an open question if the Republic survives the Kenyanesian Usurpation.

As of today the leading Dem candidates for POTUS are Warren and Bidden. A sane ration person would not consider either.

We are witnessing the beginning of the end of the Democratic Party as we know it.

Time to drain the swamp and bury it forever!

Just a few of the 45 communists goals 1963. ..

16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture—education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.

Nothing new. The left always campaigns on some version of "Fighting for Change" and "Change you Can Believe In".

Dysfunction, dependency, depravity, and basically the utter destruction of everything wholesome and good... those are the foundations laid by liars who then come along with their salvation message.

The DC Establishment never expected that the People could or would elect an outsider (a genuine, uncorrupted American soul) who honestly wants to fix things and even worse, is one who actually has the Can-Do skillsets and real-world experience and wherewithal to make it happen.

Like the song says:

If I can make it there, I'll make it anywhere
It's up to you, New York, New York

Change you can believe in... so what's their problem? President Trump is merely doing what the corrupt, lawless creatures endlessly promise, but do lie, after creating the worst problems.

It explains why the entrenched status quo is freaked out. It's full of great wrath, knowing it has but a short time.

It’s literally like being transported back to the year 1999. The rhetoric and policy proposals are exactly the same; the only difference is he says something along the lines of how this election is, quote "a battle for the soul of this nation."

There you go, do what Prince said: "Party like it's 1999."

It's up to you, New York, New York

Who would ever suspect?! God's a funny Guy. Nothing mysterious though, as the usual characters do what they always do, drop the ball.

It is said that Mel Brooks (famous New Yorker) couldn't make a movie today. No need, this is better. This is real. A trump is a decisive, unexpected victory from an ingenious (higher-level) direction. Some folks never learn. Start spreading the news...

This guy is spot on. I saw his picture and thought 'sheesh' I'm sure his 'starting' point of when the middle class started crashing would be in the 2000s because twenty somethings don't comprehend history and its effects. But he nailed it with citing the normalization of China in trade. A complete rail road job and the beginning of mass exodus, combined of course with NAFTA.

Good article. Thanks for posting.

Agree.

And while I never miss El Rushbo, he’s been silent how the Lil’ General H. Ross Perot was right when he predicted in the early 90’s how Nafta would create a “huge sucking sound” as industry and jobs left the US.

The rats, rinos and never Trumpers were happy with America’s decline. It didn’t affect them. Heck, they profited from it.

Barney Frank opposed Bush investigating Fannie and Freddy in 2003. Said such oversight would do more harm than good

Yes it is and the entire article should be a primer for why dems ideas are ruining this country and can’t be allowed to win again.

Right. All democrats but I don’t discount the sleazy republicans either. They (some) were and are willing participants in passing the destructive bills and in fighting Trump in trying to reverse course. They also must be named and destroyed in elections.
