Washington (CNN) — House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff said Thursday that transcripts from the impeachment inquiry's closed-door interviews could start being publicly released as early as next week.
Schiff made the revelation when he told CNN's Chris Cuomo on "Cuomo Prime Time" that accusations from Republicans that the minority party isn't getting enough time to ask questions in the closed-door depositions are false.
"Those arguments you've heard are almost completely false, with only one exception," Schiff said. "And when you see the transcripts, and we expect to begin releasing them as early as next week, you'll see that the Republicans have every bit as much time to ask questions."

"You know it was certainly important, you know, in this impeachment proceeding, we have the existence of the call record, but I don't think that's really what differentiates then (Watergate) from now. I think the main difference is the President now has Fox prime time and that allows his supporters to live in this alternative fact world."
He added: " And, frankly, I think if Richard Nixon had had Fox prime time, he would have never been forced to leave office. And that is what we're up against. You know, an information environment in which you can live in a world devoid of facts."

Why did it only take one day for Trump’s team to produce the Transcripts that all of this is about? Because there was no editing. After hearing Schiff give his interpretation of the phone Transcripts. I don’t want to read or listen to him read his interpretation of what he thinks his basement meetings produced.
So why didn’t he release the transcripts right away?

And still the Criminal investigation into their attempted coup to cover their crimes will go on.

I’m kinda curious...if this closed-door ‘thing’ was done in the SCIF in the basement of the building...did the SCIF manager approve recording equipment being there? Normally, this would be violating a significant rule or two.
Which, in recognition of Democrats' usual standards, is the equivalent of strict adherence to the letter of the law...
And don't forget their credo: "Rules were made to be broken."
Or changed to fit the circumstances.
It takes time to redact its contents.
Outrageous. Transcripts are leading questions and coached answers, un-cross examined, unchallenged. Tells only one side. The release of these could be damaging considering the evil twisting they will undergo at the hands of the dive by media.
They will be completely edited, like his ‘parody’.
Schiff needs time to alter the transcripts, the same way the FBI altered General Flynn’s 302s.
I have suspected that Schiff’s ‘parody’ was the actual testimony from the Whistleblower’s that Schiff’s staff dressed up for the IG report. Since it was “testimony”, he presented it that way (probably because that is the way that Ciarmella presented it). It was a second hand story from Vindman apparently..It sounded like something you would hear at the office cooler, or an elementary school play yard, or scenes from the movie “Ant-man”, where Luis (Michael Pena), relates the story as to how he found out about Pym’s home safe....
