I have no doubt that Ciarmella (Pronounced "CHAR-a-mella") was convinced by various people orchestrating this (because there is no doubt it is orchestrated) that there would be no "risk" to him, he would never be called on to testify, he only had to kick the thing off and the "whistleblower" status would protect his anonymity. So Ciaramella probably thought he could "do his part" with little risk. Because Leftists can't think one step ahead.

As this article by Debra Heine at PJ Media points out, these texts are a clear indication of a spying campaign on the Trump Presidency. Not the Trump Campaign. The Trump Presidency. They are discussing the placement of a spy INSIDE the Trump White House.

So, to summarize: It is most likely that mysterious "Charlie" whose identity was being speculated on ever since the texts from Strzok and Page came out is very likely Ciaramella. (CHAR-a-mella). The "Whistelblower". The same person who was a registered Democrat who has direct ties to Biden, Brennan, Schiff, and most damningly, Alexandra Chalupa, and had left the NSC and returned to the CIA in 2017 because he was suspected of leaking.

THAT "Charlie" Ciaramella. Is it ANY surprise the Left and the Media expended every resource and tactic they could muster to protect the identity of this "concerned, patriotic government servant"?

Interesting thought, however, at first read it sounds like “Charlie” may be a FBI investigator who is part of Mueller’s team. I’m curious who “Katie” and her husband may be and how they fit in the picture as it sounds as if he may be another mole who is trying to recruit people within the Executive to spy on Trump.

Regardless...this cancer runs deeper than I think most of us thought and it is going to take a Herculean effort to root out this evil. I’m afraid the squishy RINO’s that are currently representative of the Republican party are complicit in the Deep State and must be excised as well.
