I saw a photo that had the medal cropped out. I figured it was fake. No way the dog gets the MOH in a few days when our men wait years and years to have it awarded!
And as proud as I am of these service dogs (and I love dogs), I’m not sure I would honor any of them with the Medal of Honor. Brings up a philosophical question - can a dog be brave? I’m thinking that the MOH should be reserved for people.
