Poll: Tulsi Gabbard Leads Kamala Harris in Democratic Primary
National Review ^ | October 30, 2019 | ALEXANDRA DESANCTIS

According to a new national survey of the Democratic primary field released today by Suffolk/USA Today, Hawaii representative Tulsi Gabbard is leading California senator Kamala Harris, by one point, a surprising new development in the race.

Former vice president Joe Biden comes in first place at 26 percent, trailed by Massachusetts senator Elizabeth Warren, who falls nearly ten points behind him at 17 percent. Senator Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) has only half the support Biden does (13 percent), and South Bend, Ind., mayor Pete Buttigieg comes in fourth at 10 percent. Gabbard is in a more distant fifth place with 4 percent, followed by Harris and businessman Andrew Yang, each of whom has the support of 3 percent of voters.

Wow! That has to be humiliating for Kamala Harris who brushed Tulsi Gabbard off as a lower tier candidate. The only thing more humiliating is if both make the next debate and Harris is next to Gabbard but further out towards the edge of the stage.

Biden with his incoherent memory issues is in the lead.

In comparing these two female Democrat pols, one can clearly see that Gabbard has innate leadership qualities.

One can also clearly see that Harris has nothing of the sort. Kamel-uh Harris is a bad stand up comedian.

"The telephone poll of 1,000 registered voters nationwide, taken Oct. 23-26, has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points. The sample of 399 likely Democratic voters has an error margin of 4.9 points; the sample of 323 likely Republican voters has an error margin of 5.5 points."

Oversampled Dems, and yet from these oversampled Dems ...

"I am undecided...I want someone best equipped to take on Donald Trump," said Freyr Thor, 56, a tech CEO from South Pasadena, California. He's worried about what he's seen, and hasn't seen, in the Democrats' televised debates so far. "No one has shown me they can take on Trump, including Biden."

Republicans expressed overwhelming confidence about the outcome of the election, with 86% predicting the president would win. Seventy-five percent of Democrats said their nominee would win. But independents by a double-digit margin expected Trump to prevail.

Despite the cloud of impeachment, overall those surveyed predicted by 50%-40% that the president in the end would claim a second term.

I would think there are a ton of Republicans, putting their finger on the scales, and making it look like DEMOCRATS are favoring Tulsi over Kamala. I don;t put much stock in polls.

All it takes a look at their field, and the push for impeachment makes complete sense. Their strongest candidate has been an idiot in public for decades, and now he’s a senile idiot. I doubt he could even get Cornpop to back down anymore, though he would probably still beat Paul Ryan in a debate. Harris is as unlikable as any candidate I have ever seen; Gabbard actually cares about the country, she’s just wrong about what’s good for it. It’s a complete clown show.

The problem with Kamala Harris is that mattress she wears strapped to her back, it’s very distracting....

There is a reason she’s been given a couple of nicknames.

Kamala “Heels Up” Harris or
Kamala “Headboard” Harris...

Not only that, but she is just horrible at retail politicking.

Maybe because she really doesn't like most of the people she meets.

“cloud of impeachment”

The Dems big tactical error was to start talking about impeachment from the day Trump was sworn in as President.

They cried “wolf” and there was no wolf.

Tulsi will send Kamala back to California. Bound to happen when the latter drops out.

She’s somehow an even worse candidate than Hillary Clinton.

Tulsi will send Kamala back to California.

Damn! I was hoping that Tulsi would get Kamel-toe to give up her Senate seat to concentrate on her Presidential leg spread.
