When they say sea levels rising, it’s the first place I think of. When I was a kid, decades ago, the ocean lapped at the steps of the Malibu homes. Today, the ocean laps at the exact same steps. So I’m really difficult to convince they’re rising.

Of course the oceans can rise and fall. Land can rise and fall as well for that matter. Always has, always will. And people, even in prehistoric times when it happened somehow managed to cope—they moved.

And I’ll repeat myself on the topic of rising sea levels. Do a search for “The Broomway” in England. This is a path that has been in use for 600 years. Every day it is flooded by high tides. Perhaps the seas aren’t rising at all.
