Yep, I heard Mike C. say this too. The owners of this biz really should not have stepped onto PR Battlefield, they should have hired a Pro, someone like Mike C., to handle the whole thing. The owners are not Public Relations experts.
The real reason they came out with this latest apology and press conference is because both their truck outside, and stand inside the stadium at the Sunday Bill's game were dead the whole day, just a trickle of biz. People were posting pics of their empty truck and counter all day on social media.
What is interesting to note is that an entire stadium of people refused to buy from their food truck.
That’s tens of thousands of people.
That's why the non-apology sounded like it did.
It wasn't an apology. It was a plea to get people to buy their food by telling them 'we pay taxes, we employ people, we pay them for their work, we're non-political, we're good people. People depend on us for their jobs. Don't let us go out of business. Please buy our food'.
They saw their business drop dramatically and they're panicking.
