So it basically a fake vote to keep on the fake PR stunt. Totally meaningless nonsense.

The democrat Star Chamber is still trying to find a crime to justify its verdict and sentence.

So the minority has no subpoena power unless the Rat coup plotter committee chairman concurs and any appeal of that decision goes to the rat controlled committee for final decision; in other words, the Republicans have no rights. The Freedom caucus and patriots now need to go to full disruption mode. Don't play the game; cause chaos.

Sorry, sisn’t expect a pdf at your link.
In sum:
Ex Post Facto justification for their star chamber.
And
Republicans can ask the Dems for witnesses and stuff- but the Dems can deny any such requests.

it’s a resolution to ‘AFFIRM that the democrats are actually doing what they’ve been doing since before trump took office” ie trying to impeach him
By golly, if they don’t have this vote, then how in the world will we ever know if the left are trying to impeach him or not? lol- Apparently we need a resolution to solidify the fact that they are trying to impeach him?
All it is is to AFFIRM they are doing it lol- it’s not even an official impeachment yet-

Is this resolution enough to invalidate Executive Privilege? And does it limit the scope of what can be investigated? I’m not a lawyer.

That may be the best and only solution that the dems have at this point. They cant back down for fear from the crazy left. The have nothing to go forward with. So stall and obfuscate.

Nancy deemed the “existing House of Representatives inquiry” passed. Let’s have a recorded vote on that.
To: JoSixChip
No and No, its just an attempt to legitimize the circus that already exists.

But how can a Red-District Dem who doesn’t want to vote Yes on Impeachment for fear of their political lives ending, still support this resolution as it legitimizes a Kangaroo Court. These seems more toxic to voters than a full blown by the book impeachment.
To: where's_the_Outrage?
So, as I read this, it’s business as usual except that the ranking minority member has the right to request additional witnesses and evidence via a petition outlining the evidentiary purpose of the additions which must be approved by the chairman. If the chairmen disagrees with the minority member, the entire committee is to vote on whether to allow what the minority member wants. Since there is no direction as to the vote, I have to assume that a majority of a quorum of the committee rules. Given that each committee has a majority of Dems, this seems like a Democrat veto power against anything the Republicans might propose. Big whoop!
