Speaking to the International Association of Chiefs of Police annual conference in Chicago Monday, President Trump discussed the issue of crimes committed with firearms and explained the best way to deal with the ongoing issue.
"The best way to reduce gun violence is to put criminals with firearms behind bars," Trump said to applause from the audience. "And just so you understand, we will always protect our Second Amendment."

The best way to reduce gun violence is to first realize that guns are not violent.
Its simnple.
Impose martial law on the high crime areas of Chicago, with curfews, and take down the criminals, try them and jail them.
When the gangsters shoot at police officers they should shoot to kill them, and the police should be supported 100%, no interference from those pitiful leftist excuses for leaders.
To hell with the caterwauling lefty liberals.
Parts of Chicago are a war zone.
Their decades of policies that have destroyed minority families and ruined public schools have ensured that crime rates among minorities will always be higher.
Liberals are incapable of acknowledging this disparity and refuse to enforce the law and prosecute based upon the facts.
Democrats are in collusion with criminal gangs like the Bloods, Crips and MS-13.
We have ample evidence linking these groups to Democratic politicians.
The entire system is corrupt and need to be burned down.
To reduce gun violence, give everyone a gun.
