Exactly, that term is so misused here. Deals always have trade offs, always. Otherwise, what’s the reason for any deals at all?
You give us something because... Because what? Even if Trump implied their aid might be in jeopardy, big deal. I’d bet the farm you could find that kind of thing in every deal a president has ever made on foreign policy. Obama sent pallets of taxpayer cash off in the middle of the night as part of a deal. Now that’s quid pro quo.
All they even have in the transcript is Trump asking for a favor, not demanding one. Big F’n deal.

except Trump was asking a foreign leader to investigate a political opponent. Nope, there is a treaty, signed by I believe Clinton that REQUIRES either country to examine and explain ANY illegal activity involved......Trump's doing just that.

Facts, what facts? Democrats make them up. There’s no due process in the Star Chamber proceeding they’re running.
That Chris Wallace endows it with legitimacy says a lot more about him than it does about Trump.
