Fox News’ Chris Wallace just shocked viewers by going on an anti-Trump rant.
This past week, House Republicans stormed a closed-door impeachment hearing with complaints about a lack of transparency. It was these same Republicans that Wallace went after during an appearance he made on “America’s Newsroom” on Friday.
There, host Sandra Smith had Wallace listen to a video clip in which White House adviser Kellyanne Conway asked, “Where’s the process?”
“My feeling is that if you are having trouble with the facts, you argue process,” responded Wallace, who seems all too ready to take the Democrats’ side. “That’s what Republicans are doing right now.”
The implication, of course, is that the facts are against President Donald Trump, that they seem to indicate that Trump is guilty of a quid pro quo between himself and Ukranian president Volodymyr Zelensky. This being the case, Wallace argues, all Republicans can do is try to get the inquiry thrown out by arguing that the process is unfair.
Before viewers get the idea that Wallace has a personal ax to grind, he cited the supposedly damning evidence that the Democrats have against Trump.
“The Democrats have gotten some very damaging information from people like William Taylor, the acting U.S. ambassador to Ukraine; Fiona Hill, who used to be one of the top advisers of the National Security Council on Ukraine,” he said, “evidence that seems to tie more of a quid pro quo, that there is some evidence from these people working in the Trump administration that the president linked aid to Ukraine, a White House meeting with Ukrainian president, to getting research on the Democrats.”
Wallace then likened the impeachment inquiry to the Benghazi hearings.
“In the Benghazi investigation, there were private hearings and then there were public hearings,” he said. “That’s what’s going to happen here.”
“I just think that in the end after we have these little must-see TV hearings with these key witnesses in public in November,” Wallace continued, “I’m not sure people are going to care a lot about what the process was in October.”
Show me a Chris Wallace and I’ll show you a loser.
It’s obvious the GOP Senate will backstab POTUS and demand a “bipartisan” impeachment trial that will grind the beltway to a halt for months. Then at the end they will vote not to convict because they don’t want their fingerprints on removing Trump from the WH.
Wallace and the Democrats never deal with the facts.
Isn’t quid pro quo just another way of saying deal or understanding? Don’t quid pro quid deals occur every day in Congress in the form of vote trading?
Wallace is tipping the Dems hand here. Public hearings in November and Trump’s impeachment by the House around New Year. And you can thank the do-nothing GOP Senate for it.

Wallace is gaslighting here for Team Never Trump.
This circus in the House is only happening because the GOP Senate refuses to engage the coupists and gather their own facts. They’ve already given them a month to set a narrative and pivot. No indications GOP Senate won’t continue to green light the House and their coupists allies. That makes them co-conspirators in this coup and no less.
Facts? Facts? We got no stinkin’ Facts. Chris is confused. The Democrats are relying on the Spanish Inquisition process because they have no facts, not to mention no evidence of high crimes and misdemeanors. This guy is so clueless.

Wallace would not no the facts or truth if it bit him on the ass. He dose not even come close to addressing the democratic lies and distortion as they try to make things up that don’t exist. This is all cover for the Durham investigation which is about to blow up in their faces and vindicate Trump. Grow up Wallce and tell the truth or just go away.

It would not shock me to hear him do this. Sissy Wallace is a virulent anti-Trumper, which is why I never waste my time watching his stupid show.
