Silly White People. They should know black people get a free pass to use the N word (”hateful, violent language”) with impunity.
I don’t see it like that, I believe the guard was sincerely trying to teach the young man not to use that word.
I agree, but you can bet that if he was white, he would still be fired and condemned as a racist forevermore.
I used to run a junior high ski club. One night, a little loudmouth brat got n the wrong bus that was driven by a black man. I was behind him when he yelled out that he wasn’t going to ride with a nigger.
I grabbed the little runt, picked him up by the collar and lifter the idiot off his feet and told him in no uncertain terms to change his attitude.
How do these ignoramuses even get their jobs?
They wake up everyday looking for something to be offended by. And that's not hard when everything in their lives is designated as offensive.
Too many rote teachers and administrators nowadays. No one can look at the facts and make a reasonable judgment decision. Everything is black and white with no gray in the middle.
This kind of publicity just amplifies how far from reality these people exist.
Nowadays you be spending in jail for that stunt.

After I retired from the Air Force, I got a political appointment to the Board of Trustees of the local community college. We graduated a large number of technicians, for whom there was considerable demand in local industry. A large proportion of our graduates were Blacks. They did well in the college and got good jobs locally.
I wish there were more similar opportunities for Blacks elsewhere.

Capitulating to stupid liberal societal norms makes me sick.
The kid called the guy the slur, and he told the kid not to call him that. He could have made a better choice of words — for example, watch your mouth — but he didn’t, and in the heat of the moment the slur came out, just as it might have if he had been called any other offensive term. I don’t see what the big deal is. He didn’t use the slur against the kid. You think context would count, but when you have a zero tolerance policy, context becomes irrelevant, as does most good common sense. A good lesson for the kids.
This reminds me of the scene from “Glory” in which Denzel Washington calls Morgan Freeman a n***er. Freeman says, “You watch who you’re calling a n***er. If there’s any n***ers around here, it’s you. Just a smart-mouthed, stupid-ass, swamp-runnin’ ni***er! And if you not careful, that’s all you ever gonna be!.” Denzel’s character got the point.
By the way, I wonder how the trouble-making kid fared after this incident.
