Well, my dad used to take his belt off and whip my brother and sister and I when we went too far in our bad behavior.

All of us turned out fine and loved our dear Dad until he passed away.

But if the authorities caught him today spanking us with a belt, he would be in jail.

Times change and your version of corporal punishment is no longer tolerated in our society.
