BORIS Johnson has FINALLY got backing for his Brexit deal tonight from MPs - but they have wrecked his hopes for an October 31 exit.
MPs opted to push his deal through to the next stage of the House of Commons by 329 - 299 this evening in a huge victory for the PM after months of negotiations with Brussels and with his own backbenchers.

They voted to debate it, before going to comittee. First step.
Doesn’t matter, HARD Brexit is in 10 days. The law said “Make a Deal!”. Boris made one. If Parliment does not accept it, Hard Brexit...

They wont hold a vote on it because Johnsons enemies are sure the EU will grant their delay request.
Right now they have no incentive to approve the deal when a delay might be forthcoming.
Now everyone is waiting for Brussels decision.

I can see them agreeing to a two week extension, giving Parliament time to approve the deal and pass implementing legislation.
But two months isnt going to happen.

Boris is going to hand it off to Farage to get it done.
If Nigel can get through November without saying something dastardly, then an early Dec election unites Farage & Tories and they finally Brexit on the terms EU just agreed to.

Johnson got what he originally wanted — Parliament to be suspended and unable to do anything until right before Brexit.

There is ZERO chance Boris would call an election if his internal polling wasn't revealing that Farage would pick off enough Labour seats to make the Brexit just passed go through.
Boris would be willing to crown Farage for a day just to make that happen, then depose him, then play kingmaker out of his own crowd.
ANYTHING that reduces Labour's power, including barely propping up Corbyn in his safe seats while keeping the boot on the neck of that sob Khan, is ENTIRELY worth it.

Labor is definitely in trouble. One of th Tory MPs gave a speech today, he said 100 Labor MPs come from districts that supported Brexit, and 60 Labor MPs come from Districts that supported Brexit 60/40.
