Then the defense establishment should simply invent a story about Isis version 2.0 that wants to kill off all prior members of Isis. Ultimately, very few care about several hundred people being killed over there in that part of the world. Like it or not. Get it done, I say.

Until Islam goes through a reformation and outlaws 'first cousin' marriage... AND outlaws taking women as ‘spoil’ of war, ISIS or it's equivalent will continue .. It will NOT be the fault of any country.

On the lighter brighter side, if we pull out of the ME they'll concentrate on killing each other and leave us alone. And NO it is NOT our responsibility to allow them to move here or to babysit their insanity.

Since ISIS is per se a threat to America and America’s interests, we have every right to go in and wipe them out. Again, as long as we have the will, the focus, and superior might, we will crush them as we have in the past. Under Trump we have all those things. Still not sure what you’re puzzled about.

We crushed them last time with the assistance of 60,000 Kurdish fighters backed up with a few hundred U.S. soldiers in support. That's no longer a solution so if we have to go in against an Isis caliphate again it's with thousands of U.S. troops.

Keeping them quiet for a generation would involve cruelty Americans have no stomach for.

Keeping them quiet forever would involve cruelty even a Vlad Tepes would barely have stomach for, but it may well prove necessary.

If that’s what it takes, knowing you’re fighting for America and freedom, like we did against the Nazis.

The only thing that will defeat us is when we no longer believe in the freedom America stands for.

As long as we have a President like Trump who believes in freedom “to the point of bayonet”, as Reagan once said, we’ll win.

Again, freedom is worth the price to defend and preserve it. Once we don’t believe that anymore, we’re finished.

ISIS isn’t coming back. Funny how the same clowns who where were silent when 0 took out 15000 troops from Iraq are now in hysterics cause Trump moved 50 guys.

It is amazing totally ignorant of basic facts the macho boy internet warriors are. Moving 50 guys out of Syria is “worse then Obama” moving 15000 out of Iraq after we WON there?

Syria been a Russian Client state since the 1950s. We weren’t there fighting Isis. We were running guns from Libya to Syria to “arm the freedom fighters” and topple Assad. It was “regime change” again.

What our moron squad Obama-Clinton-McCain etc were too stupid to learn is that Isis is one part of the Anti Assad forces. So anything we gave the “freedom fighters” ended up in Isis hands. That why you saw the pictures of all the trucks we bought “the freedom fighters” hauling Isis troops around

We had NO BUSINESS being in Syria. Trump is merely cleaning up one of the disastrous mistakes the DC Lobby for for Perpetual War made

News Flash!

Jihadi Islamists have been ‘coming back’ for 1400 years!

Keeping them quiet for a generation would involve cruelty Americans have no stomach for.

The only solution is the final solution.

The mutual defense under NATO only applies when the NATO member is attacked.

Turkey was the aggressor here, and thereby disqualified itself from NATO support.

It isn’t a much bigger step to earn disciplinary action...

Who gets blamed if our troops are still fighting and dying in Syria in 2030?

Sometimes. They're all sons of Ishmael.

And he will be a wild ass of a man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.

There’s a jihadi born every minute.

If you didn’t understand that you need to have someone explain to you that there are two sexes, mismatched pairs produce babies, and fetishes people have about being other than what biology dictates don’t overrule reality.

Genocide would be the only way to be sure ISIS.

The President just pulled a thousand troops out of Syria. I don't think President Trump is anxious to send tens of thousands of US troops back in.
