The blackouts imposed by Pacific Gas & Electric Co. in mid-October affected hundreds of thousands of residents throughout California, causing agricultural operations to come to a virtual standstill in some areas while costing the states overall economy as much as $2.6 billion, according to some estimates.
It also fueled a valuable conversation about the condition of our forests and the apparent lack of preparedness among our government agencies and utilities.

Nothing like Democrats not stepping up to the plate and taking responsibility. Bad actors from top to bottom.
America doesn’t need much from California. They are a mess.
The California Democratic Party: building a bridge to the 19th century.
CC
The blackouts are probably in heavy Republican conservative areas. Until SFO and LA feel the pain California will keep electing people who follow bad policy.
California sucks, Your Governor sucks, Your chosen, Democrat Party, Low Life, Scum & Vermin Humanity...sucks, You deserve every personal daily pain, the homeless, the high taxes, the “Zero” services, the massive druggies and their street discarded needles, the massive Feces Turds on your streets and sidewalks, and the massive illegal immigrants, etc., you get. You idiots voted for these morons. You deserve every shortcoming that impacts you and your families and businesses every day!!! Your getting exacting what you voted for!!!
Although it is handy having a few west coat ports.
...coast...
The Democrat playbook—whenever something goes wrong, blame any combination of the following:
(1) The Russians
(2) White Nationalists
(3) Big Corporations (until woke zombies are placed in charge of the Board of Directors)
California can do whatever it wants. None of us can control the stupid when they have the majority.
However, we are seeing way too many California license plates in our state. We really, really don’t want you. Go home and fix your mess and don’t bring your crappy attitudes here.
You forgot Orange Man, on your list
Yes, the blackouts were primarily in Conservative areas. Power was turned of for a week in some counties on a windless day. Primarily blacked out was the part of the state signed on to the Jefferson movement for succession from California.
You do realize that by land mass California is Conservative and votes Republican? It is the Democrats in the cities and Legislature who import illegals and registered them to vote who run the show now.
100% corruption. Some towns in LA have virtually no citizens in them. The vote for signs are all in spanish.
And you insult the few Americans left, how helpful.
Seems you are the one with the crappy attitude. If you are seeing a California licence plate it’s most likely a conservative that left.
But go ahead and do your Bigot thingie, somebody has to reinforce the Okie stereotype.
Like Rush has said for decades, being a Liberal means never having to say you are sorry.
Judges order strives to reduce the number of fires caused by PG&E

“PG&E may not take into account the inconvenience to customers or its revenues and profits” over safety, says federal judge

On Wednesday, a federal judge in charge of Pacific Gas and Electric Companys (PG&E) ongoing criminal probation laid out a series of new regulations on the utility that are intended to reduce to zero the number of wildfires caused by PG&E in the 2019 wildfire season.
In the most sweeping of the proposed changes to the terms of PG&Es probation, Judge William Alsup says that the company must shut off power to parts of its grid whenever there is sufficient risk of a fire hazard:
quote -———————
At all times during the 2019 Wildfire Season (and thereafter), PG&E may supply electricity only through those parts of its electrical grid it has determined to be safe under the wind conditions then prevailing. Conversely, PG&E must de-energize any part of its grid not yet rated as safe by PG&E for the wind conditions then prevailing until those conditions have subsided. [...]
PG&E may not take into account the need for reliability of service, the inconvenience to customers resulting from interruption in service, or its impact upon PG&Es revenues and profits.
unquote -———————
This could mean extended blackouts for PG&E customers. But as Alsup points out, thats a minor concern compared to the results of the states 2017 and 2018 wildfire records.
I agree with you, but, mostly only a bit. Orange County, California not too long ago was a powerful Republican base of folks. It is that way no more!!! However, San Deigo has basically remained in Republican control. And the rest of the state with the exception of Sacramento...has remained conservative!!! The sweet land of Beach Boys, “California Dreaming”, sad to say, lives no more!!!
When I was a young lad in the 1950’s the entire country dreamed of moving to sunny California, where every young chick and lady was a knockout. They say...”whatever goes around, comes around”...I certainly hope so!!! Democrats are working hard to destroy the American Republic....but....it ain’t gonna work....not when Trumpie gets out 53,000 Trump supporters to his recent rally in Dallas, Texas!!!
Hope he pulls in the same amount at his California rallies. Scare the Democrats into spending scarce campaign money in a "safe" state and re-invigorate the Conservatives there.
He needs to get into Southern CA. many seats were STOLEN from us in the Orange County area OR Similar Valley Area we lost a STRONG conservative seat to a woman doing manaje tois with her female aid and ex husband these seats were STOLEN the RNC needs to get a grip on voter fraud in these areas AND our side needs to do vote harvesting also!!!
Similar = Simi Valley damn spell check!!!!
