Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) will fill in as acting chairwoman of the House Oversight and Reform Committee following the death of Elijah Cummings (D-MD). [A legislative leadership aide said]...the Democratic caucus process to elect a permanent chair will be announced at a later time.

Maloney is 73, supported Hillary Clinton and has sharply criticized POTUS, so we don't expect anything new. Interestingly, though, she herself may not be in good health, since she collapsed at a recent event.
