This article is behind an bit. I believe it was either yesterday or this morning that Beto said if people don’t turn them over then police will come to their homes to confiscate the firearms.
When somebody directly threatens to murder 20 million people to get his way, I take him seriously. Kamala Harris and Eric Swalwell have made the same threats. This indicates that the plan is already in place - these stooges are tasked with finding some legal way to get there. If they can’t, I suppose the plan will eventually proceed in some extra-legal manner.
I thought about selling my gun “back” to the government but after doing a comprehensive background check found they were irresponsible with an unstable history given to fits of irrationality.

actually Ayers was talking about 20 million back in the seventies. I imagine their target kill number is closer to 100 million today.
