Election interference? Absolutely!
Screen shot.
All these rules are being made ad hoc for Trump.
I wonder which “world leader” they are aiming this at?
Rhetorical question.
What clowns & they are not funny. Break them up. They violate the First Amendment & antitrust laws.
This is election interference. “We won’t silence Trump, but we’ll throttle his supporter’s speech.”
Or break up Big Tech like they did the telecoms.
Breaking them up wouldn’t do anything other than cause them to be disorganized temporarily, the new social media companies would coordinate exactly the same way Facebook, Google, Twitter, and Apple already do.
It needs to be made explicit that this systemic deplatforming and censorship is illegal.
Break them up now!
How are these rules different?
Admission that Twitter wasn’t supposed to delete President Trump’s postings since they are “public record” and that violates retention rules?
The solution is obvious. It would also be a huge opportunity for some technology entrepreneur. Create a website that simply Harvest tweets from Trump and other world leaders, and creative space in which they can be liked and shared to other social media. Problem solved.
