America’s top two Trump-hating newspapers, The New York Times and The Washington Post, have now both called on Speaker Nancy Pelosi to hold a vote of the full House of Representatives to make the “impeachment inquiry” truly official — and to set rules like those for the inquiries targeting Presidents Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton, so that the minority party and the White House weren’t totally sidelined.
So far, though, Pelosi and her impeachment pointman, Rep. Adam Schiff, are moving the opposite way.

That's what this is. It's not an impeachment inquiry. It's a self-vetting inquiry. Trying to figure out just what and how much they need to cover up.

They want to have that kind of power.
Trump is in their way which is why they are going after him with everything they have.
Obama and his team transformed the federal law enforcement agencies from sort of apolitical into the muscle for the democrat party.
Can’t have sunlight shine on the secret impeachment inquiry.
Because then everyone can see it is a nothing burger.
By keeping the hearings secret, and leaking out selected portions gives the appearance of wrong doing by Trump to the masses who do not have time or inclination to read the transcript of conversation with Ukraine’s president.
It is so stupid to give the whistle blower credence when what he/she is blowing the whistle for is all about the transcript which has been already released for all to see.
My bet is there will never be an impeachment vote - they merely intend to use the sham “inquiry” as yet another way to sully the president during the upcoming campaign. Star chamber hearings and leaks of false information. (just like what happened with the Mueller investigation)
